Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation signed a five-year USD7.4 billion contract on 12 December for 537 H-60 Hawk-family helicopters for the US Army and US Navy.

Sikorsky, a division of United Technologies Corporation, will provide the army with the UH-60M Black Hawk utility helicopter and the HH-60M medical evacuation variant.

The company will provide the navy with the MH-60S Seahawk, which is equipped for troop transport, airborne mine countermeasures work and armed helicopter support missions, as well as the MH-60R Sea Hawk, a maritime dominance helicopter.
