I wonder what is going to happen after NATO and US pull out of Afghanistan this year. At that point Pakistan will be not much more than another pain in the a*s. What will they be able to offer, as a "partner", at that point ?

Supply route for Afghan government, perhaps ? I have reasons to believe that relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan are going to get worse pretty soon. Abdullah Abdullah is going to be a new Afghan president, and he is going to have much lower tolerance for Taliban presence. Also, it is significant that, of all presidential candidates, only Abdullah Abdullah mentioned negative aspects when asked about relations with Pakistan. The other two spoke of Pakistan in positive context, only.
