This is old news about hte EMP weapons, you can even get decent quality diagrams from the congressional briefs on this from a couple of years ago (both artillery rounds and bombs).

Knowledge is always free, in an egalitarian society the issue is always who will give it to you though. A few solid days in a reasonable library will generate some leads. Trawling around on the internet for such things is also probably guaranteed to increase your "contact" list as well. far be it for me to make anyone paranoid though - the Michigan Militia is doing a fine enough job of that already.

I personally find EMP weapons extremely fascinating and would give them high priority as a political or military leader. In a war, you better believe I'd use them and reduce my enemies to guerrilla army technology. Then I would only have to send in troops as occupiers. The only reason I might not use it is if I want to save it as a surprise for some bigger threat. link

I read on this page that the russians are selling EMP weapons. I donīt know if it is true but that means only rifles and RPGs will work on a modern battefields. Isnīt unsafe to trust in advanced eletronics like Landwarrior and Felin systens.

Depends on how well protected they are.

The March 2006 issue of Naval Institute Proceedings has a half page of questions concerning EMP weapon use. In itself the artical does not say a lot.. The implications behind it are large.
