How much confidence do Polish counter-intelligence programs inspire in Poles and Westerners?
The Russians have a lot of experience in penetrating the defense establishments of other countries as they did our Manhattan Project. And there were the Walker brothers who gave the Soviets critical info on the equipment I used to work on.

Hmm. France wants to supply sub-launched STORM SHADOW to Poland? The Poles might be foolish to accept. The French have no proven track record with sub-launched cruise missiles. The Germans HAVE via Israel. (USN reported this as an observed fact about 2007.)
Additional notes that the Article does not cover:
1. German subs are capable of Harpoon and
presumably Tomahawk launch
. (OOPs in a serious way.)
2. RoK will sell to anybody.

The right one is "Some poles well aware what will exactly happen with Poland if they even try to strike Kremlin."
I see poles forgot who switched off the ovens of Auschwitz.
Probably when they support UkroNazis now, they trying to find someone who can remind how those ovens is operating?

We put you on wheels, put clothes on your backs, supplied you with a third of your air force and kept 2/5th of the Germans off you in the critical 43/44 ourselves and when your agro collapsed and your industry failed at that same time we fed your starving bellies with our bread and managed your factories for you,
when your Red Army did that hard work
. You FORGET your debts, Russian. We know you bled much for us all
but you still forget your debts.

Pretty sure they remember who invaded their country from the other direction, right after the Germans.
Pretty sure they remember a little place called Katyn Forrest..
Pretty sure they remember that Friendly Uncle Joe, was less just slightly less particular.. on who got tortured, imprisoned or executed than the German fellow..
Oh.. and the Germans were gone in a few years.. the Soviets stuck around for half a century..
Could go on.. but I don't think you will find any takers on the Poles should be thankful for the Soviet Union stance.. Good luck with that one..
