EAST CHINA SEA (June 22, 2012) An SH-60F Seahawk, assigned to the Chargers of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 14, which is deployed with the George Washington Carrier Strike Group, prepares to take off from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Kirishima (DD 174) during a trilateral event. The George Washington Carrier Strike Group is participating in a trilateral exercise to improve interoperability, readiness and the capability to respond quickly to various situations in the region with ships and aircraft from the Republic of Korea Navy and the Japan Maritime Self Defense Forces.
