An amphibious assault vehicle assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit debarks the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Rushmore and heads for the Indonesian shore to support Marine Exercise 2009. MAREX is a multi-lateral training exercise designed to enhance interoperability and communication between the militaries of the U.S. and Indonesia.
