Thales is vast and though it's a french compagny they extend their grasp all around europe, this include subsidiaries like Thales UK, Thales Netherlands, Thales Germany etc... But you're right we have some UK Compagnies and other foreign countries which are members of Thales among them we have Marconi Sonar SA, Avimo Group(Singapore/UK), Thales Defence-RACAL included?-(UK/France) and thats all for you British.
