The US Navy is complaining that it is not getting the money it needs to do the jobs it has, and that the situation gets worse as future budget plans are considered. The Navy will be $2.1 billion short in its modernization account in 2006 and this will double to $4.5 billion in 2007.--Stephen V Cole
