The Mission Statement of the US Military Academy at West Point emphasizes leadership and service. The Mission Statement of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis does not mention leadership and emphasizes the development of mental capacity. The Army admits that Annapolis is more academically challenging, but is proud to note that it produces better leaders. --Stephen V Cole
