Sweden is paying Lockheed Martin to convert one C-130 transport into an aerial tanker. This involves fitting a 6,814-liter fuel tank into the cargo bay. Conversion is to take place during 2002 with the aircraft available to support Swedish fighter jets by 2003.--Stephen V Cole
