Boeing has made the first test flight of the new AH-64D Multiyear-II aircraft. This has the second phase of a multi-year improvement program to use commercial computer hardware to upgrade the core avionics architecture. The Multiyear-II program will update 269 AH-64As.--Stephen V Cole
