USS Nimitz

06/18/05 - The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) underway near Orote Point, which marks the entrance to Apra Harbor, Guam, on June 18, 2005. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is visiting Naval base Guam for a scheduled port visit. Nimitz is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the war on terror.
