Once more, the US has placed sanctions on China's largest arms manufacturer, NORINCO, for selling illegal missile parts to an unnamed country (probably Pakistan). NORINCO is the major supplier of weapons to the Chinese armed forces. Last July, NORINCO was sanctioned for selling missile parts to Iran. The several sets of sanctions make it difficult to purchase manufacturing equipment from the US, and to sell many of its products into the US. NORINCO is a huge organization, with annual sales of over $10 billion and over a hundred joint ventures with non-Chinese firms around the world.
