Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Royal Jordanian air force and the U.S. Air Force 77th Wing Shaw Air Force Base, an F-18 Super Hornet from the USS Harry S. Truman Aircraft Carrier and a Mirage from the Pakistan air force fly in formation over the lowest place on Earth the Dead Sea a famous destination in Jordan, during the 2010 Falcon Air Meet, Oct. 27, 2010, Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Azraq Jordan. The Falcon Air Meet is a friendly competition centered on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. F-16 units from Jordan, U.S. Air Force, and the United Arab Emirates along with a Mirage unit from Pakistan and a U.S. Navy F-18 unit are competing in the fifth annual event hosted by Jordan and the Royal Jordanian air force. The event has been judged by the 140th Colorado Air National Guard the past five years due to their strong friendship with Jordan and their State Partnership Program. Photo by Tech. Sgt. Wolfram M.
