The Japanese Navy wants to buy two long-range patrol aircraft to assist in anti-piracy patrols near Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They are currently using a Dassault Falcon 900A; the leading candidates are the Bombardier Global Express and Gulfstream V.--Stephen V Cole
