Defense Secretary Rumsfeld has all but gotten congressional approval to create a Deputy Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. This means that the Pentagon will get to keep control over the Defense Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and National Reconnaissance Office, agencies that the CIA has been trying to gobble up.--Stephen V Cole
